I painted Wings of Wanderlust for the travellers, nature lovers, and wild-hearted daydreamers — the people who feel most at home in colour and sunlight.

This vibrant parrot is part of my kaleidoscope style: layered brushstrokes of teal, turquoise, and sunset gold, painted with movement and energy. I love capturing not just what an animal looks like, but who they are. In this piece, the parrot is calm but alert right before that moment it takes flight. Curious. Confident. Free.

To me, this painting is about adventure and belonging at the same time. It’s a little reminder that you don’t have to be on the road or in the jungle to feel wonder. You can bring that feeling into your space and live with it every day.

Each original I create begins with positive affirmations written under the paint with quiet intentions for joy, kindness and connection. I like to believe that energy stays with the piece and finds the right person.
