The Purcell Mountains of British Columbia rise in quiet strength above the winding Columbia River, inviting us to wanter within nature's gentle rhythm.
I tried to capture the flow of the river hoping that it would draw the viewer into the scene, while the colourful tree in the foreground serves as a reminder that beauty often reveals itself when we actually stop enough to notice it. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies and Columbia Valley region, this is my interpretation of the Purcell Mountains along the Columbia River.
Painted with layers of rich colour and energetic brushwork, this original artwork brings a sense of adventure, optimism, and connection to nature into any space.
