Where Cascade Meets the Bow

Inspired by one of Banff's most recognizable landscapes, Where Cascade Meets the Bow captures the meeting of two iconic natural features of Cascade Mountain and the flowing waters of the Bow River.

Painted in my expressive style, I tried to capture the movement of light across the landscape, with vibrant colours and sweeping reflections that invite the viewer into the scene. I love the ever-changing relationship between mountain, river and sky which makes me feel so connected to the Canadian Rockies.

This original oil painting is created on a 36" x 36" un-stretched canvas, offering collectors lower pricing for large originals because my shipping costs are more economical while providing collectors the flexibility to have the artwork stretched or framed to suit their space and personal style.

Whether you've explored Banff's trails or simply feel drawn to the majesty of the Rockies like me,  I hope this painting brings a sense of connection, adventure and place into your home.

Panting size: 36" x 36"
Materials: Painted on un-stretched canvas in mostly acrylics and an oil sky
Certificate of Authenticity is included dated and signed by me, the artist

PLEASE NOTE*** This original painting is done on a high-quality UN-STRETCHED canvas for overall economic purpose. Please read the following carefully to understand the benefits of buying an original painting on an un-stretched canvas.

Original Paintings on Un-stretched Canvas = Affordability!

1. Original paintings done on stretched gallery-wrap canvas frames can be quite expensive in comparison to having a canvas mounted into a frame or stretched onto a wooden frame locally.

2. Shipping un-stretched original paintings is considerably less expensive than shipping large paintings on gallery wrapped frames.

3. Points one and two allow me to make my larger originals more affordable, and the money saved will allow the buyer to have the painting framed or stretched their own way to suit their own tastes and decorating needs.

4. Painting will arrive carefully rolled and packaged in a strong tube or triangle packaging.

This particular canvas is painted all the way to the edge to allow for a 1" or 2" stretched gallery wrap.
