My newest painting of three of the ten peaks from Moraine Lake.
This area is so special to me as I remember the days where you could actually drive up to the lake yourself. If you were there early enough, you could park in the little parking lot up by the lake. It was always such a nice day and really, there weren't many people there at that time. We used to do the hike from the lake up to Sentinel Pass where the view of the peaks is absolutely stunning. Back in the day you maybe only passed a handful of fellow hikers. I remember sitting at the top and just feeling so small and insignificant next to these beauties. Heavy sigh.
