In Light Finds the Peaks, the landscape becomes a stage for something more than place, and it becomes a moment of revelation.
Inspired by Mount Baker in Washington, I tried to capture that fleeting instant when light breaks through and claims the summit. The peak glows with warmth while the surrounding ridges move in colourful rhythm flowing like breath across the mountain’s surface. Below, the forest rises in textured, expressive strokes, grounding the scene while echoing the energy above.
Part of my Light as the Hero exploration, this painting is less about geography and more about feeling.
