"Magnificent Three" was such a joy to paint as the Three Sisters in Canmore have always inspired me. I wanted to capture not just their towering presence but also the way the light constantly shifts across their rugged peaks. As I painted, I found myself drawn to the contrast between the dramatic sky and the solid, grounded feel of the mountains. My goal was to create a piece that feels alive, where you can almost sense the crisp mountain air and the energy of the Rockies.
