I’m excited to share my newest large-scale painting, Peaks of Wonder on 64" x 44" un-stretched canvas roll (can be stretched onto a 2" 60" x 40" gallery wrap canvas), inspired by the breathtaking landscape of Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
This iconic view in the heart of the Canadian Rockies continues to leave a lasting impression on me, and I set out to capture that sense of awe and wonder through vibrant colour, expressive movement, and scale. This piece is a reflection of my deep connection to these landscapes and the feeling they evoke every time I return. Unfortunately, to get there these days, you need to book transport up to the area as it has become a very popular tourist destination.
*Note this is an original 64" x 44" painting on an un-stretched canvas and will arrive rolled in a secure tube. The painting can be stretched onto a 60" x 40" x 2" gallery wrap canvas that will be painted on the sides for a beautifully finished look.

Original Paintings on Un-stretched Canvas = Affordability!
1. Original paintings done on stretched gallery-wrap canvas frames can be quite expensive in comparison to having a canvas mounted into a frame or stretched onto a wooden frame locally.
2. Shipping un-stretched original paintings is considerably less expensive than shipping large paintings on gallery wrapped frames.
3. Points one and two allow me to make my larger originals more affordable, and the money saved will allow the buyer to have the painting framed or stretched their own way to suit their own tastes and decorating needs.
4. Painting will arrive carefully rolled and packaged in a strong tube or triangle packaging.
This particular canvas is painted all the way to the edge to allow for a 1" or 2" stretched gallery wrap. Canvas also has a 2" white border around each edge for ease of mounting on gallery wrap frames.
